Climbers View Shiraz 2016
Tasting Notes
Being a cooler climate Shiraz Climbers View is a medium-bodied colour and flavour with spicy pepper tang and smoked meat tastes. It is strong on the front of the mouth and spicy on the finish but with a slightly mild fruity mid-palate feel.
The newly released 2016 Climbers View Shiraz has notes of mild oak, pepper, blackberry and dark plum.
Makes you reach for the chocolates and as it is aged in oak it has a toasty aroma with a lingering dry finish.
Will go perfectly with any red meats, a bar-b-que or a picnic on a hike in the Australian bush.
Climbers View Malbec 2013
Tasting Notes
Climbers View Malbec is a medium-bodied colour and flavour with moderate tannins and toasty aroma. It is strong on the front of the mouth and spicy on the finish but settles to a mild jammy taste.
The newly released 2013 Climbers View Malbec has notes of smoked almonds, pepper, blackberry and mocha.
Great with any red meat and strong cheeses with a toasty aroma and a lingering dry finish.
Will go perfectly with any red meat roast, a bar-b-que or a picnic on a hike in the Australian bush with cold steak or roast beef sandwiches.
